Russia is scrambling to recruit men to fight in Ukraine after major losses in the early months of the war left the army stretched thin and some soldiers disenchanted.
The Kremlin has so far declined to order a general mobilization of draft-age soldiers, because this could signal that the war is not proceeding as well as depicted in the Russian media and threaten to stir grass-roots resistance to the military campaign.

But the closer he got to the Ukrainian border, the more disenchanted he grew. Fellow soldiers who returned from “behind the ribbon” — slang for crossing into Ukraine — told him horrifying battle tales and lamented poor planning that left Russian soldiers eating grass because of a lack of provisions.
“I have not such patriotic news,” Shatrov wrote. “In the dining room, I met volunteers just like me. They were there for five days, and 80 percent did not return. Out of the four people from Yaroslavl, only one guy came back. He said his commanders abandoned them there.”
His account was consistent with other reports about growing exhaustion among the Russian units.
“We’ve had several hundred requests from people who wanted to sever their contract prematurely,” Krivenko said. “Some explain that lack of any [communication with loved ones] was the reason; some blame command that abandoned them or [complain] about callous conditions.”
“And just overall, they say the war is brutal, and it’s not clear to them what are they doing there and who are they are fighting against,” he added.

More BS. The truth is that the initial force is mostly rotating to this day among itself.
In the front door sign up out the backdoor on the bus to Ukraine
The rank that really needs to be thinned is Putin’s. He cannot croak too soon. Here’s hoping cancer claim’s him this month or next.

This is what Russian jails are for.
Exactly. Moreover, the Russians standoff and hammer the UFA with artillery, aircraft/drones, and missiles from a range the UFA can’t reach. Once the positions are pulverized, the tanks and infantry come in to mop up. The situation is hideous for the UFA, and I don’t know why ridiculous Zelensky psyops pieces are still being published when Zelensky says they lack munitions, long-range artillery, and can’t mount an offensive. Everything in the WAPO is inverted. Ukrainian young men, understandably, have fled in the 100s of thousands to the west to avoid becoming cannon fodder. UFA soldiers are roaming behind the lines looking for draft age men to give draft summonses to.
Even if you believe the Bezos deep state Post (I don’t), it’s nearly irrelevant because Russia is in what it sees as an existential fight.
It’s more of a war of opportunism for the US deep state who will sacrifice every single Ukrainian for their ends. But ironically, the US deep state may have also worked its way into an existential crisis
Yep. They know the opposite is true as Ukraine is losing at least 100 troops a day.
All of it is lies. All of it
RE: Russia is scrambling to recruit men to fight in Ukraine
Recruit or Draft?
The former is voluntary, the latter is FORCED.
It’s over.
Dirty RuZZian
Aim higher. Some sources say their irreversible losses are about 200,000.
But everybody needs to focus on the Javelins allegedly destroyed a 1000 Russian tanks, which are upon closer examination are mostly Ukrainian destroyed from the air.
It’s Thursday…time for another General to die.
The “smaller” opponent is the largest European country and was better equipped than most of the NATO allies before it has all started. And due to the way it was beaten, it is time for the rest of NATO to go home of prepare white flags in advance.
More fanciful tales from the blackhole named Ukraine...
Add it to the growing mountain of propaganda being spewed from both sides but mainly the US and Western/Anglo media.
