If they use a lot of fuel they’re using the highways more so shouldn’t it be tied to fuel taxes and not coming out of the general fund? Business just passes along their costs anyway. What’s needed is a way to tax electric vehicle use so their owners can contribute to highway funds as well.
Can’t argue on the electric cars (since I’m not a Globalist). I also think you’re right as to the user-fee aspect...so forget my posting!
