Viktor Medvedchuk is good friends with Putin.
That’s all I need to know here.
Figures you’d be here defending this BS. But it’s democracy, right?
Yep
I see almost everyone commenting here has been consistently a Putin or Russia supporter for the past 4 months. I do think it is important to keep watch on this kind of trend. Where does the line separating a pro-Russian opposition and a loyal opposition lie? Ukraines president has worked hard and courageously to keep his country from being conquered. That is hard enough work to also have to be dealing with other Ukrainians at work trying to undermine his efforts for the country. Does membership in EU have provisions for looking at this issue before granting membership? If the Russians can ever be sent home, then more political liberalism can be considered and reestablished.
When one political party can determine which opposition parties to ban, you don’t have opposition parties; you have a one-party state.
