Doesn’t matter that it’s gonna cost you $50k and that your home electrical bill will increase $60 a month just to charge it. Would Saint Obama mislead you? (I’m basing that $60 a month on what a friend said the increase was after buying an electric golf cart. So a Tesla would probably cause an even larger increase.)

The way that gas prices have escalated so sharply, isn’t it possible that a tax holiday for an 18 cent per gallon federal tax, would simply be absorbed by increasing prices?
Wait for complaints from people, if gas prices don’t immediately drop by the 18 cents a gallon we are supposed to save.
