1. Trump endorsed him first. At this time I believe he was ahead in polling comfortably.
2. Mo Brooks very publicly stated Trump should get over the Vote Fraud.
3. Trump endorsed his Opponent Katie Britt.
4. Brooks stupidly refused to apologize and admit he was wrong.
5. Katie Britt won running away.

Additionally, I bet he had some private conversations with Trump that proved to Trump Brooks was an idiot or not to be trusted.

Or maybe, just maybe, you are wrong about Trump on this one and Trump, with his conversations with Mo, and Mo's current petulant behavior, Trump was right about not backing Mo.

And he was left with only Britt, and desirous of having skin in the game, decided endorsing someone, even a McConnell acolyte, was better than having a Democrat in that seat.

The fact that he wore body armor seems to confirm Trump’s cancern voiced to Pelosi that they needed troops there.

Brooks ran a lousy campaign. First he thought the Trump endorsement alone would be enough so he sat on his ass and didn’t do the work. Then he started backtracking on telling the truth about the Steal. As a result, Trump pulled his endorsement.

Its a shame because I think Brooks would have made a better senator than Britt who has the backing of the RINO establishment which is always a bad sign. But Brooks has nobody to blame but himself.

He needs to take his own advice and move on and forget about the 2020 election.

All I can say is a man that close to the president in the past and also close to his Congressional colleagues regarding their plans for January 6 or another related matters (particularly the ones who are reported now to have sought pardons), one had better hope that he isn’t pissed off wants revenge and flips and starts to spill the whole beans on all… It is not gonna be pretty for people. There in addition to the several month’s footage at the committee now has from the British journalist Alex Holden that they’re going through with a fine tooth comb.
