I feel overwhelmed by their hypocrisy. Last time I saw info n maternal deaths in the US, any death of a woman within a year either way of giving birth counted as a maternal death. Auto accidents (distracted by hormones or infant, donchaknow), being shot (domestic violence due to pregnancy, donchaknow), etc.

In the meantime, the reason our infant mortality rate is so high compared to other nations is deug-addicted mothers and a difference in how we count infant mortality.
Fact? They’ve delivered these improvements? No, they want to pay for healthcare and social justice programs that might lead to these improvements. Might, probably won’t. Will enrich some bureaucrats and put more people on the government paycheck, for sure.
