Yes, it’s virtue signaling that the Ds care after birth while the nasty ole Rs only want to force women to give birth.

I feel overwhelmed by their hypocrisy. Last time I saw info n maternal deaths in the US, any death of a woman within a year either way of giving birth counted as a maternal death. Auto accidents (distracted by hormones or infant, donchaknow), being shot (domestic violence due to pregnancy, donchaknow), etc.
