Something I have noticed from my childhood in the Mississippi Delta many, many years ago. Most hardcore racist cannot stand for a black or brown person to touch them. It also seems to be true of the hypocrites that preach to us about “equality” from the pulpit of their elected office.
That is a fact, and not only in the deep south.
I witnessed it repeatedly in Pennsylvania when I hosted Fresh Air Fund children from Harlem at my home in a lily white suburb .
Some told their children that they were not allowed to play with my children until those “black b****** “ went home.
One neighbor, a pillar of the Catholic parish, told me to my face that I “had some nerve bringing black people (kids under ten) into her neighborhood.”
Pelosi reminds me of that nasty neighbor whom I put in her place many years ago when I told her she was a bigoted hypocrite.
