LUGANO, Switzerland (AP) — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Monday the reconstruction of his war-battered country is the “common task of the entire democratic world,” as his prime minister laid out a $750 billion recovery plan once invading Russia’s guns fall silent.
“The reconstruction of Ukraine is not a local project, is not a project of one nation, but a common task of the entire democratic world — all countries, all countries who can say they are civilized,” Zelenskyy told hundreds of attendees in Lugano. ”Restoring Ukraine means restoring the principles of life, restoring the space of life, restoring everything that makes humans humans.”

I’ve already predicted that we’ll end up paying the whole bill, for both sides.
...minus two eastern oblasts.
If we had a real president Russia would be made to pay the bulk of this. And there are ways of doing it.
If Russia paid our Washington elite would be cut out from the table scraps, which is sizeable considering this will be $1bn or more when finalized.
The big guy’s family gets theirs coming and going. Fortunately, we have a construction company with much experience in the rebuilding grift racket,

I kind of doubt that the dufe could earn that much with his little pervo-piano act so he might have to make some sort of an S/M thing out of it... He and his cohorts and nazi leaders get chained together by the ankles, stripped and frog-marched through Europe and charge people to light their hineys up with big paddles or some such... They might could make a start on the .7T that way after six or eight years.
$1bn = $1trillion
There will not be a postwar Ukraine.
As long as US taxpayers pay for it, Zelenskyy & Biden don’t much care.
Mega yacht builders will be busy.
What business is it of ours?
“...“common task of the entire democratic world,”
Ukraine broke away from Russia in 1991 with a 92.3% of their vote. More than 30 countries have provided security assistance to Ukraine since its conflict and separation with Russia. The US has provided monetary aid every year since 1991 and the last big year being in 2020 when we gave them over $600M. (Which is peanuts compared to what we have given them in military aid just this half a year, 2022) When are they going to do something for themselves? I’ve seen a lot of pandering in major cities in the US. These guys have made a success story out of it.

Then there are the Gazprom payments for cross country gas transportation going into bitcoin or Swiss accounts for Zelensky and plugs.

I hope this won’t interfere with the govt funding my personal $2 Billion recovery plan. I’m a victim of Russia, Russia, Russia too!
So we need to root for Russia to win entirely to avoid this promised future fleecing of the American taxpayers?
