Yes - Hmong. I watch the County Sherriff’s youtube “Life on Patrol” and they were out the night this happened and talked about it. They found the children’s shoes by the water, and one small child. The mom and other two children were missing.
They were also called out on a couple of “sightings” of the woman fitting her description - with “bleach-blonde hair”. They caught up with one gal fitting the description and not the mom. At that time they were thinking the mom had killed the children and was trying to flee.
I haven’t heard how sure they are that the husband killed himself.
