“Unfortunately, the reintroduction of the Civics Secures Democracy Act is being co-sponsored by ‘conservative’ Republicans, including Senators John Cornyn (R-TX), Jim Inhofe (R-OK), and Bill Cassidy (R-LA). In the House, the legislation is supported by Rep. Tom Cole (R-OK).”

"the Civics Secures Democracy Act"
I absolutely detest the way that Democrats always give their legislation some BS propagandistic title that conceals its true purpose.

Time to eliminate the Department of Education and get the feds out of the schools!

Obama had a playbook but he didn’t write it.

I don’t understand why parents allow CRT in schools. I would think it would be easy enough to discourage educators from even bringing it up.

Two out of three here home schooled. Threatened by the school board for over a decade, the results delivered one attorney, one architect / document historian, and one satellite communications engineer. All change their own flat tire, repair their own plumbing, repair their own electrical problems, and grow / can their own veggies.
Their views and opinions vary greatly at times, but they are verifiably their own. They know to never listen to the media. They do their own searching.

We go to school board meetings every month. It’s not easy for parents to get what they want.

A lot of parents have been going to school boards to talk about it.
That’s why they’ve been labeled terrorists by the FBI.

CRT in a sentence: All whites are racists from the minute they are born.
And that’s why Dems want abortions unrestricted even after birth!

...it looks to me like there’s so much insanity and stupidity on both sides of this issue that there’s absolutely no hope that sensible people can prevail.
I’m as certain as I can be that people who think they’re promoting Critical Race Theory are trying to indoctrinate our kids with divisive, hurtful ideas they can’t prove or even reasonably show.
But I’m equally certain that those who oppose CRT are trying to pretend that racism is an issue from the past.
It’s not. This is a deeply racist country, not just on the right, but on the left and in the middle too. We are all victims of racism. None of us chose it; it chose us. It’s like falling in love. You don’t make that decision yourself, it’s something that happens to you.
In that sense, we’re morally guiltless. But that doesn’t mean we should maintain, or teach our kids, that racism is dead and gone. It’s not. It has real effects, big effects, on our lives today.
What we should do about it is a different question. But we certainly should know, and teach our kids, that racism is a powerful reality in our world today, and we don’t know what to do about it. If there were a way of getting to that outcome, I’d be all for it. I don’t think there is.

School Choice...
Parents receive a voucher for the same amount of money public schools spend per child - parents choose where their child will be educated.
End the Public School Experiment - it’s failed...
