If they are good, they’ll get another job.
If they were good to begin with, they would have been hired in the private sector. As a potential employers, I would 86 any application for employment that had a history of government employment listed on it. Too many bad habits are sure to be part and parcel with that.

Exactly. Too many people assume that because they worked for government that these people were lazy worthless slackers. However being that these people resigned it tells me that a good percentage of them had other jobs lined up and probably were more skilled engineers, logisticians, contracting officers ect., people who are in high demand in the private sector.
Their replacements will likely be fresh fish just out of college who don’t have any experience.
