Not useless at all. He already has two coding jobs and he doesn’t even have his degree yet. He might not even NEED a Computer Science degree, but it will open more doors.

Many employers like programmers who actually DON’T speak Hindi.

Four easy As to pad your gpa.

FWIW ...

Aeons ago as an undergrad, I WAS NOT INTERESTED in "easy As". I also really didn't give a shit about my GPA. That DIE requirement represents a lot of money and 12 credit hours WASTED on garbage nonsense that the student could spend on something worthwhile. I didn't have time to waste on nonsense courses.

What the right needs to admit is that this is, in fact, a deeply racist nation. You can see this immediately by looking at the marriage rate between so called white men and so called black women.

Stuff it.

Typically all of these types of indoctrination requirements can be met by taking music classes or even cuisine classes. But the ethnic studies requirement (new to CA public colleges such as the 23 campuses of Cal State) is different.

Students MUST choose an “underrepresented” oppressed group to study. And only one. Not even a survey course. So that would be: blacks, Latinos, Native Americans, or Asians. My son will be choosing Asians as they are an example of what TO DO as a culture with academic excellence instead of what NOT to do. Notice the Jews aren’t an option. If Jews were an option my son would have studied them. No group is more oppressed over history than them!

Common sense has been banned—everywhere.

Good try, though.

This is how we are forced to pay for pseudo-professionals in diversity careers.

And enrollment plummets over the next 5 years with the best students looking elsewhere.

It’s probably the school you end up at, if Arizona or Arizona State don’t accept you.
