The question arises: how could Jones's private text messages have harmed the defendants? The question to follow: did he broadcast his disbelief on his show? And even if he did state his disbelief, how would that have harmed the relatives of the deceased children? Granted that some of his followers may behave harassed the defendants, the blame should be on the harassers, not Jones.

The goal is to bankrupt and effectively silence Alex Jones, the 900 pound gorilla of the alternative media. Silencing Jones will also intimidate many others who hold unconventional views outside the range of acceptable viewpoints, from Fox to Huffpost.

That’s not the only reason they can be valuable as evidence. If, for example, the text messages show that Jones knew that the public statements at issue he was making were false, then that is very relevant evidence.

Bingo. This is it exactly. The goal is to silence Jones. That has been the goal all along. He’s the canary in the coal mine for this kind of lawfare waged by the Left.

Remember when Big Tech really started censoring and banning? They started with - Alex Jones. “Oh no need to worry....its just Alex Jones” said a lot of naive people. Guess again.
