Just think of how toxic these chemicals are when these EV batteries catch on fire - spewing all these toxins into the air. Environmentalism is the biggest scam. These are people who have rejected God and chosen worship of the Earth as their religion. And it is a religion! They don’t care that EV batteries are more toxic and create more environmental destruction than normal cars.... it’s all about pushing their religion no matter the cost.

How much pollutants were emitted by the fire? Is it still worth it going electric?

All sorts of cities used to have Electric Buses.

They had smaller [lead-acid] batteries though.

Lithium ion batteries are to propulsion systems as compact florescent bulbs were to lighting.

Another EV goes up in smoke. With a bus sized lithium battery, this must have been very difficult to put out.

Bridgeport, a city that has truly gone to hell. Once one of the richest cities in the USA and now a sewer controlled by black and brown drug gangs and full to the brim with dysfunctional worthless individuals. A lot of Nutmeg State cities are much like Shitport.

“Bus fires are rare, but can occur similar to cars.”

So park your EV far from your house.

Thank God nobody got seriously hurt, that there were no passengers or the driver of the bus that got burnt.

EVs aren’t zero emission, even when they don’t burn. They have batteries that store and use energy provided from sources that produce emissions. And like any ICE vehicle, an EV that lasts 300,000 miles will go through over 36 tires made from guess what.

I’m waiting for the time when an EV catches fire in the underground parking garage of some fancy hotel. The repair and cleanup bill would be astronomical.

No prob. To save the planet they will just declare an emergency and prohibit driving by anyone not on a government trip.
