No reason to fight - time for a national divorce. Remember they hate us as much or more than we hate them.

But who is 'us' and who is 'them'?
And divide the country, how? By states? By regions? Disconnected cities vs rural area? By major political party control in each state? [Demographics change.]
There is no reasonable way to divide the country. It will be an all-or-nothing proposition, like the last CW was. Winner takes all.
I'm just not into giving up before making an effort... I believe most liberals would love to live in a country where no one is allowed to own a gun. They believe that would stop crime. No more school shootings. Gay sex could be taught in schools starting in kindergarten... Also liberal women could kill their babies up to an hour AFTER birth in case the kid was ugly. Illegals from all countries would be welcome as cheap (almost slave) labor in the liberal US. That's a lot of incentives for liberals to work with us to divide the country. And there's more. Everything they've ever wanted in a country they can have. Reparations? Yes. Redistribution of wealth? Yes!
And us? The boring traditional Americans? We'll be gone. Out of their lives forever. Really, more incentives than have ever existed. It can happen. Peacefully divide the country.
