One result of satellite internet is that it expands into areas that can be wired once demand reaches a sufficient number of subscribers.

It's the same thing our country did with dams, canals, railroads, the telegraph, highways, telephones, airports, radio, television, cable, and fiber optic.

It's the type of thing the government needs to support as it crosses legal barriers while the companies can handle the technical barriers.

I think it was Obama who transferred billions of dollars of subsidies into private hands over the climate hoax, with taxpayers left holding the bag. However, sometimes they are okay, such as public utilities, which are government allowed monopolies to help out the utility companies, since no corporation can pony up the billions needed to build the power plants. Then there is Space X, which is soaking up NASA money and is vital for national defense.
