Trump’s sin was that he retained the “super duper double classified” design for the the warp drive that the Space Force is intending to install in the Starship fleet, the Enterprise being the first.
It’s like some talking head said; Having classified documents is only half the equation. Most classified documents are meaningless notes on who attended meetings etc. Very few are for example the nuclear launch codes or blueprint for a new robotic drone design etc.
That’s assuming any he had were not declassified.

Good point; quite possible if not likely.
Just as likely, I fear, "they" will resort to a kamikaze attack if they are unsuccessful. It is easy to imagine some of the decision-makers in that regard have nothing to lose and the rest have everything to lose.
