Yes, the rosary is a weapon, a spiritual weapon.

My wife is a spiritual warrior, along with my 20 YO son. I wish he'd pick up some humility while attending Latin Masses. I attended two last week, offered for my granddaughter in NICU.

I just didn't get "it". I attend Sunday Mass at the hospital where my granddaughter is. It just suits me better.

We pray the Rosary as a family 2-3 times a week, it has a positive effect on all of us.

Being a post Vatican II baby, I have never attended a Latin Mass. I've attended lots of hippie/folk masses in the 1970s, which even as a child, I found, errr, uninspiring.

I started attending a Latin mass about 2 months ago "to see what all the fuss was about." The only one in our town/county of 1 million. I was blown away by the reverence and piety of the parishoners. The notion that the Pope and many Bishops want to shut down the Tridentine Mass is simply astounding.

"Spiritual warfare" is a concept that goes back to the Bible. It is a not a recent development, nor is it only something to be found among American conservatives and Trump supporters.

For Catholics, praying the rosary has always been considered a form of spiritual warfare, and I recall that back in the 50s and early 60s, Catholics prayed for "the conversion of Russia."

The use of prayer beads is also found among some Muslims and Hindus.

I don't recall the media being alarmed when Wiccans attempted to place a curse on Donald Trump. In fact, they liked the idea.
