I still think there was a really good chance this whole thing was orchestrated by Trump's team to serve two purposes:

1. Make the DOJ/FBI look bad.

2. Give Trump political cover to assert his Fifth Amendment rights in his New York State deposition that took place less than 48 hours after the raid.
