Wind Turbines Are Destroying the Planet Green energy leads to sex trafficking, terrorism, drugs and deforestation.

New York, along with other states, is moving forward with massive wind turbine projects.

The push for "9,000 megawatts of offshore wind energy" comes at a high price, not only for families who are left dependent on expensive and unreliable energy, but for the planet.

Wind turbines require massive amounts of rare earths for their generators and motors. A single wind turbine eats up tons of rare earth metals. Rare earth mining carried out in China is horrifyingly destructive to people and the environment. One story described radioactive lakes, high cancer rates and villagers whose "teeth began to fall out" and "hair turned white at unusually young ages". "Children were born with soft bones and cancer rates rocketed."

A recent Associated Press story about rare earth mining operations in Burma told of a world where "birds no longer sing, and the herbs no longer grow. The fish no longer swim in rivers that have turned a murky brown."

An offshore wind turbine can produce somewhere between 9 and 14 megawatts depending on its size. New York's goal would require a thousand offshore wind turbines. Fiberglass wind turbine blades can’t be recycled and end up in massive landfills where they remain, according to one executive, “forever”. But within the fiberglass sheath is balsa wood that can be recycled.

Balsa wood is light, airy and popular for everything from model airplanes to planes. The obsession with green energy has created a massive demand for balsa wood to use in wind turbines. While a story from 2020 about how 14 million trees had been cut down in Scotland to make way for wind farms recently went viral, far more trees are cut down to make turbines.

Billions of trees.

As for the Gulf of Mexico, a mere 30 million acres is being set aside for wind turbines. Should be interesting when a Cat 5 meanders through. IIRC, that 30 million acres monstrosity will supply power for 11 million homes. Uh, I don't like that math at all. That's like 2.7 acres for each home. Yeah branDUHn that sounds real good.

Green Energy, EVs destroying the planet piece by piece so the rich and self righteous can virtue signal their deep hatred for the planet.

Are people such as Al Gore and Greta Thunberg aware of this?

If I could get a turbine or solar farm sufficiently small enough, I’d plop one down on my acreage, but to generate any functional amount of electricity, you need an acre alone. Not worth it. Give me nuclear!

Green energy is dirty energy. Which is how the Greens get to push for more of it as the air etc. gets worse as we use more of it. It’s a self-feeding monster of destruction.

In case you missed it. That is the plan. To kill everyone but their slaves. They being the Elites. The fools and idiots don’t realize that they are digging their own graves, but they will. It is not the planet they hate but their fellow men and women. Whom they consider inferior.

There actually is a way to recycle fiberglass turbine blades.
It reduces them to oil and very little solids.
It is the same the same tech we Should be using in place of landfills.
It is called Thermal Depolymerization and articles on it are abundant.
There is some debate as to its profitability as an oil source.
But there can be no legitimate doubt as to its ability to reduce landfill while also generating a useful byproduct.

Of course the bent-nose guys would be very unhappy since they siphon off so much $$$$$ from the landfill industry.

Why do I get the feeling that WEF is planning to have a scarcity of food, water, energy etc so to eliminate the unnecessary population?

Or we Scrooge said “and reduce the surplus population”

Yup. I’ve posted a link about the method in the past. But, how many are actually being recycled?

This is what happens when mandating technology that is not economically viable on its own merits.
Slow down and let it mature, then we will know if it ever *can* be mature enough for large scale use.

Between the steel, copper, aluminum, and hundreds of tons of concrete necessary to build one turbine, it will take approximately 38 years of operations to offset the carbon necessary to build it. Interestingly, the expected life of one of these wind turbines is 20 years. So every single time we build one, the environment that these nut jobs tell us that they care about so much, suffers even more. We would be better off building coal plants.
