You can use Mpox if you want to, but most will only see it as an abreviation for...wait for it...MONKEYPOX!!
Most will reject using Mpox somewhat the way many latinos reject using latinx.

Because the first thing you want to do in a pandemic is confuse the masses who think Mpox is something different than Monkey Pox.
Remember - these are the same morons who tell you that people are too stupid to get voter id or get a job or be responsible and they need to be coddled.
But they’re smart enough to know that multiple names for a pandemic equal the same thing.
No - this is just more BS virtue signaling. MonkeyPox doesn’t refer to a region but because it was discovered IN. MONKEYS. If these retards in government actually knew what they were doing than Monkeypox (like Wuhan Flu) would NOT have been a spread or a threat and would’ve been put down with a quick vaccine (recall they were supposed to have enough doses stored up to vaccinate about 10% of the population... and they didn’t) or by shutting down grindr and the bath houses for 2 weeks to slow the spread.
But they didn’t do that either and I guarantee it wouldve stopped the spread.
