“Government prosecutor Jay Bratt last week argued that unsealing the affidavit would “provide a roadmap” of an ongoing investigation still in its early stages”

Please allow me to translate:

“We plan to drag this out for 2 1/2 years in a effort ruin Trump and his bid to run for POTUS again”

Maybe the judge was getting a few offers he couldn’t refuse. After all this is Florida. Or he has reread the full affidavit and he realizes that the information is so damning against Trump he wants to be released.

another paraphrase:

dementia joe’s DoJ: “it’s WAY too much trouble to have to propose redactions and it would set a TERRIBLE precedent that future affidavits can’t automatically be kept completely secret ...”

Would that be the ongoing investigation into Trump's collusion with Martians to hack the next election?
