Don’t think it has anything to do with the nice weather. Probably more to do with diet and exercise.

It may have a lot to do with demographics. Asian and white population in Hawaii is predominate. Looking at the
populations of the various States, one might want to factor into this equation race, crime and poverty levels.

Then why all the southern states in the bottom? Nice weather clearly is now t a reason. Eating does impact and southern people eat a lot of crap resulting in most southerners fat and morbidly obese. Means early death.

True Dat.

If you compare the obesity rates, I would bet it mirrors the life expectancy.

“One may live longer in Hawaii but one will definitely live poorer.”
and bored out of your mind from driving round and round and round the single paved two-lane coastal road around each island ...

Yep! Except for the 52-mile coastal road to Hana with 56 one-lane bridges and 67 curves. Not boring, but fun. I have driven that in a convertible, rushing on the way back from Hana to get to the airport on time for a flight.

Boredom is driving anywhere near Honolulu, with many 1-way streets that make it near impossible to get anywhere, and the always jammed highway out of town.

Thank you for sharing the video... Love Marge! 101! I hope I can make it to a hundred... Only have 41 years to go! :)

What a difference it could make if people could just reduce the animal consumption.

Back in the day, we didn’t eat animals every single day. It was a special occasion maybe a few times a month.

Many today have meat at every single meal... Does a number on the arteries.
