A veteran police officer is fighting for his life after he was mugged by three men while on his morning jog through the Bronx.
The unnamed officer, an 18-year veteran assigned to the Central Park precinct, was running through the Soundview district at 10:30am when he was attacked.
He was discovered lying on the sidewalk bleeding from his ear on Olmstead Avenue, between Lafayette and Turnbull Avenues.
The officer was taken to Jacobi hospital and diagnosed with a fractured skull and bleeding from the brain.
His condition is critical, sources told DailyMail.com.
The officer was unable to stand or speak when he was found.

NYC is heavily union. The NYPD is unionized. Unions always support liberals. Liberals always create the urban decay/violence/ghettos that cause the trouble..

I doubt having a CCW in this case would have been helpful. If they jumped him, he wouldn’t have had time to react.

Just from being mugged? The race didn’t even need to be named. Which group attacks by stomping on heads? The cop was probably targeted or wearing an NYPD sweatshirt. Interesting to see what the other cops are going to do now.

What the cops should do is discover the bodies of the three perps - beaten, stabbed, and shot. Worst case of group suicide they ever saw.

Cops, especially, should know to maintain situational awareness, and not allow groups of thugs to get within sucker punch range.
Of course, this means he may wind up drawing on people who will then scream about racism.
The only real solution is for us to stop caring about racism charges in such cases.

Federal agents should be taking notes. This could happen to them if they accept their role as the praetorian guards for the communists.
