The National Archives released a statement that the 30 million papers they gave Obama are different, because they gave them to him so he can work on which ones go in his library. Technically, they gave them to some federal agency.
So they are using this ruse to claim Trump having documents is a crime, because they told him to return them.
This whole thing is a total fraud.
To summarize it in a sentence, it’s angry, unfulfilled, partisan bureaucrats at the National Archives decided that they would sic the FBI at whim on President Trump for purely political reasons, with a major assist, of course, from White House counsel’s office, which, of course, reports to President Biden.
That was my take as this began moving along. I figured those at the Archives were involved just for the fact they never gave any other Pres. an issue about what they had.
