“Why does Obama, Bush, etc have TS, S, SCI docs as well?”
I keep wondering the same thing. Yet, I can’t find anyone who calls themselves a journalist brave enough to ask that question.
Because the incredibly obvious answer is that they most certainly do. And nobody cares.
Is there federal law that allows this?
Or is this a courtesy, like it is with outgoing DOD & security agency heads? (Note: I vigorously disagree with this practice!) When a POTUS, etc goes back to the civilian life they go back to being a civilian!
