And...the real reason the education bureaucrats and teachers' unions are so concerned:

"Naturally, the Department of Education is scrambling to find ways to sucker families back into the system. 'Whenever a student doesn’t enroll in our public schools, we lose money,' NYC school boss Banks said. “And our schools are feeling that impact.”

The GOP needs to help keep this grassroots anti-public school movement going.

NO funding will be cut, even if public school attendance drops to zero.

Public school unions are a key political and voting bloc for the Left.

I don’t know all the ins and outs of school financing, but, is part of this that, teachers could be laid off, if there are fewer students in the schools? Is the concern that teachers could lose their jobs?

If public schools would teach the core subjects and get away from all this progressive BS they’ve started, they would not have a problem...

“More than 270,000 children have left the state's government education system”

And those are not the migrants kids that are leaving, my guess is maybe 500,000 white/Asian kids have left. My ex is a teacher and ready to retire, she is thinking of taking 4-5 students per term to teach privately.

This is great news but I expect these blue states/cities to pass laws heavily regulating homeschooling in order to discourage it with threats and fines for non-compliance.

Maybe they should mandate that ALL public employee’s nationwide immediately enroll their children in the public school system or be terminated and have all pension and retirement benefits rescinded, to Save the Schools of course.

A down side to this is that the parents whose children are no longer in the public schools will lose interest in purging the woke lunatics from them. In a large city like NYC of course it’s hopeless but I’m thinking of suburban schools.

Don’t you know, in many cities they’re enrolling thousands of illegal immigrants and Afghanistan so- called refugees. OF which most won’t be paying any taxes that go toward funding public education.

Good. Reforming America’s public-school system is impossible.

This is what happens when school libraries stock pornographic literature & teachers take kids to drag shows.

Many parents just don’t appreciate high culture.

The general idea is not suprising, and likely legit.

But this report does not back up its stated title.

Using only a few anecdotal examples does not provide a “nationwide” report.

They should have done more homework.

The government school system is all about self-perpetuation, ever-increasing funding, and brainwashing. Little thought is given to the best interests of the students.

Between private schools, cyberschools and homeschooling, there are better ways to educate and parents should actively choose one of those rather than free government daycare/brainwashing.

The schools get paid by the Feds per-head in daily attendance.

Take out a chunka kids and it does indeed create a fiscal crisis. Pity.
