CORONADO, Calif. — Kyle Mullen always had the natural drive and talent that made success look easy. Until he tried out for the Navy SEALs.
The 24-year-old arrived on the California coast in January for the SEALs’ punishing selection course in the best shape of his life — even better than when he was a state champion defensive end in high school or the captain of the football team at Yale.
But by the middle of the course’s third week — a continual gut punch of physical and mental hardship, sleep deprivation and hypothermia that the SEALs call Hell Week — the 6-foot-4 athlete from Manalapan, New Jersey, was dead-eyed with exhaustion, riddled with infection and coughing up blood from lungs that were so full of fluid that others who were there said later that he sounded like he was gargling.

The Silent Professionals.
Something has happened to this organization tho.
Well, if anything, it has attracted some people who intend to be a SEAL only to profit from it post career. Didn’t use to be that way.
Can we ban mRna drug testing on Seals already?
It’s the NY slimes. What did you expect from a bunch of panty clutchers?
This was probably a vaccine related death …. The woke leaders in the Navy would rather destroy our most lethal fighters than face the fact they have poisoned the entire Navy.
“Something has happened to this organization tho.”
They’ve gotten kinder and softer. In years past guys were so badass they’d die during BUDS and report for roll call the next morning regardless.
(-;
Whoops didn’t see this. Thx
I believe many a top-notch high school or college jock still has difficulties with SEAL training (BUDS).

So why wasn't he in sick bay? If he's coughing up blood I mean c'mon.
Least he died trying. More than any liberal narcissistic gender fluid POS would ever do.
With deep respect for our SEALS, sometimes momentum can overtake reason. When badass works, some think to make it even more badass and it reaches a point of negative return.
We’ve had more plebes get rushed to the hospital at our frat at Stanford until today and counting..
and this is only the first 3 days of hell week. The last 100 years? Around 50 plus. A few tried to sue us but they signed a waiver form. Anything goes. We weed out the weak and the same goes for the SEALS. That’s the objective.
If this story is as told (and given the source, I am very skeptical), it still shows that folks have to really work to meet SEAL standards. All one has to do to meet NYT standards is to have a clown-show journalism degree, little creativity, high lying potential, and no morals. Oh, forgot, the NYT slime REALLY need drugs, and most probably use them daily in order to put up with the idiocy surrounding them.
My thoughts exactly. Presumably, anyone who started SEAL training this year had been quackcinated.
Modern America doesn’t like men or male institutions and we sure as hell ain’t allowed to do it ‘our way’ anymore.

Am I the only one in this joint who knows how the Search function works, and can be bothered to use it?
I had to Google ‘jambog’ lol and I spent years on glocktalk and never saw it there either. Yep I goofed with the repost.
SEALS don't quit, and he didn't quit.
Doubtless.
