She’s going to be around 400 pounds in a few years.

Serena looks remarkably like Mike Tyson from the eyes down. Not that there’s anything wrong with that...

Still, he was a serve and volley Master in his day.

I believe in 1984 McEnroe only lost about five times on tour (unfortunately one of those was against Lendl in the French Open final after being up two sets to none). He absolutely destroyed Connors in the Wimbledon final in one of the most lopsided finals ever.

The same would be true of Jack Nicklaus, he used a persimmon driver if I’m not mistaken, during most of his PGA career.

A persimmon driver and a POS MacGregor ball. Ball technology has come long way too.

The late Dan Jenkins once wrote that Serena seemed to be mad she hadn’t been chosen to compete in the Miss America contest.

Actually there have been some changes to the courses due to driving distance, length...bunkers etc., however
tennis itself has been forever changed due to the high tech racquet s

The parameters of the court dimensions have not.

Therefore the days of serve and volley are DONE
The grace of Margaret Court, Evonne Goolagong, Rod Laver, Becker, McEnroe are OVER

Now it’s all baseline. Rally velocities at pace what serves used to be
Marathon power stamina (and body breakdowns injuries).

Major league baseball wood only. Aluminium ball out of the stadium and into the parking lot

They are PR for a game that only a select (big) can participate in now.
Not so for golf.

Witness it’s now past 10pm est and the Collins match is still going on.

If McEnroe could have tamed his temper he would have been remembered as one of the greats of tennis. Unfortunately too many people remember his tantrums and not his play.
His brother did say that John was just like their Dad who could also erupt into verbal tirades.

I sure Jack or Arnie would have loved to have the clubs players use today.

That wouldn't have changed a thing since they would have had to play against the other players using the same clubs.

Additionally, today's PGA is much deeper in talent than it was in Jack or Arnie's day as well as the courses becoming more difficult.
