While I liked Rush, his departure created an opening for other commentators. Liberals who would avoid Rush because of his name might stumble across someone else. Stations that had to find new programming might decide they can live without Hannity, too. Or Hannity might up his game.
Are Clay and Buck as good as Rush? Maybe not, but they’re pretty good. Bo Snerdley isn’t my favorite, but he’s listenable. Jesse Kelly has a lot of fire in his belly, and has a sense of humor, too.
Greg Kelly, Dennis Prager, Glenn Beck, Ben Shapiro are all OK.
Surprisingly, Anthony Weiner is an OK listen. I don’t generally agree with him, but he’s articulate and cogent.
Are you serious? The names you mention are either pygmies or like Beck, people who sound like crackpots and cannot be trusted. Limbaugh was unique because he changed from the usual so called conservative talk show chamber of commerce baloney to becoming truly enraged at the woke communists and offering real intellectual commentary (this is generally taboo to the sports broadcast banality of most conservatives). The left was really afraid of Limbaugh and his connection to a huge audience. Limbaugh may not have been as smart as he thought he was but he was unique and powerful. What is out there now are a lot of empty suits.
