A teacher at a school in Multyfarnham, Ireland, has been sent to jail for contempt of court for failing to follow a court order after he refused to use a student's preferred pronouns.
Enoch Burke was suspended from his teaching job at Wilson's Hospital School by an order from the High Court after refusing to address a student using the "they" pronouns, citing religious beliefs, according to RTE.
Burke was arrested Monday at the school after ignoring the suspension and appearing on campus. The teacher told the court it was "insanity" that he was being sent to jail.
"It is insanity that I will be led from this courtroom to a place of incaceration, but I will not give up my Christian beliefs," Burke said after the ruling...

If one is not on board with all of this transgender business and correct pronouns and over 50 gender identities, one is committing a crime against humanity. !

Im on his side, but he was not sent to jail for using incorrect pronouns. He was banned from campus and came anyway.
I hate stories like this. “MAN SHOT FOR EATING ICECREAM” then you read the story to find out he had a gun and was shooting at police after being told not to eat ice cream on the subway.
When things become extremely evil disobedience of courts becomes duty IMHO.

As long as "they" is no longer plural but has become singular, then I guess "using the 'they' pronounS makes sense. Are there more than one "they" pronouns? Or is there just one "they" pronoun?
This is very confusing.
What the elites really want, and they will impose it as a “solution” after a few years more of this gender bending controversy, is to change language itself to eliminate traditional pronouns and replace them with some gender-neutral set they come up with. They will probably even twist some old texts to support the notion that it’s based in tradition, and meanwhile support the notion that we have to “catch up” with certain foreign languages that have gender-neutral pronouns. I think leftists in US/UK have dreaming up replacements for decades already.

A grammar violation is unforgivable. “They” connotes plural. A person is singular, not plural.
This complainer needs to be told to cram they pronouns where the sun don’t shine.
Forcing bad grammar can lead to violence and heartache.
Ayn Rand’s “Anthem” comes to mind. No personal pronouns even exist in the English language, as everyone is part of the collective.

I guess that would be the ultimate communism, even individual identities divested to and absorbed into the collective.
