Got rid of nukes first [Jane Fondle in The China Syndrome], they've been working on hydroelectric the whole time [save da fishies], they're beginning to bulldoze the last of the coal plants - now it's on to natural gas.
After natural gas, then solar and wind will be on the hit list [because of the waste that is generated]. Batteries, too - because of the land you have to chew up to make them.
I find that boiled rope and a tree can make my energy problems go away.
Most white female teachers will love this.
Sounds like a perfect opportunity for the gas companies to shut off service for everyone and everything associated with our longest successful communist organization, The Sierra Club.

I thought natural gas was far cleaner to burn than other fuel sources.
Cutting off natural gas, coal, or petroleum is not totally above board. The state that makes the most electricity is Texas. It produces 11% of the nation’s electricity.
However, almost 46% of this is created through the use of natural gas. Other categories of fossil fuel producing electricity across the 50 states include coal, nuclear and other petroleum products like diesel.
So by taking out fossil fuels to transfer to electric is going to shut down plants and cause electricity shortages: Brown outs and black outs nation wide.
Another problem is that according to energy.gov, there were 7.8 million people working to produce electricity in the US in 2021. The difference in the vote between Trump and Biden in 2020 was 7,059,547. Hmmmmm...

These idiots are certifiable insane. How did we end up giving them the power to dictate how we live our lives.

They likely do have authority to limit Nox emissions.
The bottom line for the Sierra Club is they want a much smaller population. One way they see to attain that goal is to lock up as many resources as possible.
