Cold Storage Containers at the Ports of LA / Long Beach will not be able to connect to power sources at the Docks. The Containers will need power from the ships to stay cold.

So burning bunker fuel from ships instead of land bases power. Great going Gavin...

Nothing about containers that I can find.

However, ships docking are generally required to use shore power and a statement was made ENCOURAGING them to use onboard generators.

Dirty “bunker fuel” is not used in port. The generators use low sulfur fuel oil.
