They do have portable gun safes, right???
It was in a cabinet.
It was either that or a tragic fishing accident.
How were they stolen if they were secure?
The owner - that woman - didn't have enough security to get the job done. Her fault.
Stop the double talk, Miss politician. You let criminals get ahold of dangerous firearm guns - firearm guns made for one purpose: to kill as many people as possible.
Who in the world needs one firearm gun - much less two firearm guns? That will not stop an F15!
You need to be hauled into the court of public opinion and made to answer for your crimes of omission and commission.
What is SHE doing with guns? How dare she.
She needs to end or suspend her candidacy for contributing to putting more guns on the streets.
I’m not sure what if any legal definition exists for “safe and secure” storage. But I would think it would have to be something a little sturdier than a cabinet and cable locks.
Unless the thieves had a fork lift or cutting torches, I don’t think it was “safe and secure,” from anyone but a child.
Karen B Ass
Did this happen as described, or did she simply want to
‘start a discussion going’?
The fact that only 2 guns were taken screams inside job. It’s not as good as claiming they were lost in a boating accident.
Karen, listen up.
Jun 4, 2021 — Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez urged politicians to stop building more prisons to address violent crime

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
@AOC
I know the term “prison abolition” is breaking some people’s brains. The right is already freaking out.
Yet the US incarcerates more than anywhere in the world.
We have more than enough room to close many of our prisons and explore just alternatives to incarceration.

“Defund the police” is a slogan that supports divesting funds from police departments and reallocating them to non-policing forms of public safety and community support, such as social services, youth services, housing, education, healthcare and other community resources.
Activists who use the phrase may do so with varying intentions; some seek modest reductions, while others argue for full divestment as a step toward the abolition of contemporary police services.
Activists who support the defunding of police departments often argue that investing in community programs could provide a better crime deterrent for communities; funds would go toward addressing social issues, like poverty, homelessness, and mental disorders.
Police abolitionists call for replacing existing police forces with other systems of public safety, like housing, employment, community health, education, and other programs.
Why did she have guns?
Bass is a social worker.

Get Guns Out of the Hands of Those Who Shouldn’t Have Them

Los Angeles cannot arrest its way out of crime. Historically, law enforcement’s approach has been to apprehend, adjudicate, and punish — Bass believes this is a reactive model that levels too much focus on the individual wrongdoer and not enough on the conditions underlying crime and violence. It’s not law enforcement’s role to focus on the root causes of crime and violence – community organizations and trained experts can and should be given the resources to do just that.
Don’t be stupid silly.
Waiting for the Liberal MSM to freak out over this Democrat having two guns.........
waiting........

Oh, it’s OK for *them.*
It’s the sensible, patriotic, working-class citizens they want to disarm.
Guns are dangerous and a symbol of White Supremacy. Doesn’t she know this?
