The ability to track people is almost unlimited in today's computerized world. E-verify has always been an ineffectual system since it began and the only reason for that is it's by design, the government doesn't want it to work. Try not paying taxes on $200 in interest income and see how quickly the IRS calls you on it. The bill will show up in your mailbox quickly. However, a chicken processing plant in Arkansas can operate openly staffed with 90% illegal aliens for years without any government official seeming to notice. The government can locate you by your cell phone within minutes if you're being sought, but 40 million illegal aliens somehow can disappear into the U.S. without being found? It doesn't add up and the only reason they can't find them is because the government wants them here. Getting them to leave would be simple, aggressively pursue and fine every employer who is found employing an illegal alien $50,000 for every offense. The jobs for them would disappear overnight and they would leave.

E-Verify doesn't work because it's designed NOT to work.

Not 'designed', but 'implemented' not to work.

And we need to pass fed law that states cannot license drivers who are not U.S. citizens. Coincidentally, the states cannot provide ID for non-US citizens. Easy to check with an implemented e-Verify.
