Trump Vindicated: Germany Plays Blame Games as Merkel Party Attacked for ‘16 Years of Energy Policy Failure’

Germany’s economy and climate minister has angrily lashed out at Angela Merkel’s party, accusing it of being responsible for “16 years of energy policy failure”.

While the ongoing gas crisis across Europe gets steadily worse, political tensions in Germany appear to be growing, with the country’s economic and climate minister, Robert Habeck, angrily lashing out at his political rivals in the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), the party of former chancellor Angela Merkel.

Despite having been warned by then-President Donald Trump that relying on Russia for energy was endangering the security of both Germany and her allies, Merkel’s government presided over a green agenda-fueled shift away from domestic fossil fuel production that made the country ever more reliant on gas exports supplied by Moscow.

Now, in the wake of the Ukraine war, Germany has all but completely lost access to its supply of gas from Vladimir Putin, prompting fears that many will be unable to properly heat their homes this winter.

According to a report by Tagesschau, many have been attacking Habeck over for his own poor handling of the country’s nuclear power plants, which are still mostly due to be wound down by the end of the year.

>“16 years of energy policy failure”

That’s what happens when a 16 year old runs your energy policy.

Trump is only vindicated in the minds of those who knew he was right 4 years ago. You are never really vindicated until your enemies are damaged and discredited by everyone. That means the media and 75 percent of the population knows what happened. The media will never allow Trump to be vindicated in any way that is satisfying

Or, as in our case, a senile geriatric patient! :(

And this could have gone the other way.

What was the point of the fake Biden administration reversing Trump on Nordstream 2, to then go all greeny-weenie as well as side with whatever Ukraine is against their main energy supplier?

Germany could have told the US to butt-out and maintained relations with Russia to make NS2 work. Trump still would have been right, of course, and many would have seen Germany selling-out to a bad energy relationship.

Now, Germany just looks insane. They tried to close nuclear plants while getting ready to increase gas intake from the supplier they are pissing off. Weird strategy.

Shades of Winston Churchill and the run-up to World War II ... a lone voice crying out an unheeded warning ...

I’ll bet they thought their wind turbines and solar panels were going to take up all the slack and boy would everyone be surprised when Germany showed the world how they no longer needed “fossil fuels” or nuclear anymore.

That’s probably why they were laughing, they thought Trump was just too dumb to see their genius plan.

They were thinking they would have a grand last laugh and take a victory lap in a couple years.

Boy did they get taken for a ride by the enviro Nazis and alt energy companies.

Exactly!

Don’t base your country’s energy policies on the rantings of a mentally ill autistic girl from Sweden and her moonbat followers.

All the Germans REALLY did was shut down coal and nuclear and replace it with Russian gas.

In the meantime every asshole politician had their picture taken in front of a wind turbine or solar panels and you had kids making memes how Germany was getting all their power from green alternative sources.

It was stupid and like the stupidity in this Ukraine war, it was a self induced injury where the long term outcome was foreseeable.

Meanwhile the traitor Schroeder who rammed Germany down this course and became very wealthy off that deal, getting a job with the very gas company he made sure got the contract while in office, is offering his help in the Ukraine crisis as a negotiator. Hahaha.

And a MSM which is in love with liberal leftist assholes blames the conservative party which more or less inherited the mess which a leftist socialist traitor created.

You can't make this stuff up!

I have said that Merkel should swing for what that barren beyotch did to German power generation. Every German computer should have a screen-saver that shows her rotting corpse hanging from a tree in front of the Bundestag.

Of course I would like to have a similar screen-saver featuring some of our politicians ...
