“It probably contains a lot of gifts given,”

Google Images “royal jewels”. Very interesting. Inheritances. Multiple loose gems gifted by heads of state later made in to tiaras, necklaces, brooches. Simple purchases. Original owners and the jewelers who created them.

King Charles doesn’t have to pay inheritance tax on the Queen’s private estate worth more than $750 million

King Charles will not have to pay inheritance tax on the Duchy of Lancaster estate he inherited from the Queen due to a rule allowing assets to be passed from one sovereign to another.

Charles automatically inherited the estate, the monarch’s primary source of income, while his eldest son, Prince William, inherited the Duchy of Cornwall estate - valued at more than $1 billion - from his father.

The new king will avoid inheritance tax on the estate worth more than $750 million due to a rule introduced by the UK government in 1993 to guard against the royal family’s assets being wiped out if two monarchs were to die in a short period of time, i News reported.

The provision was first exercised in 2002 when the Queen Mother passed on an estate worth about $80 million to the Queen including a collection of Faberge eggs.

The clause means that, to help protect its assets, members of the royal family do not have to pay the 40% levy on property valued at more than £325,000 ($377,000) that non-royal UK residents do.

Wills in the UK are made public by law.

But not Phil’s. Bet not Liz’s, either.

The British public ought to be having pi$$ fits about that.

“The queen’s personal collection on the other hand is thought to be worth $100 million and any jewels that she inherited, were gifted to her, or she bought herself are what would be passed on to her loved ones.”

True royalty would have it buried with her. That way she has loot in the afterlife.

I think Princess Anne, the Princess Royal, her girls, Sophie, Edward’s wife and a host of other royals will also receive bequests.

The Meeples is not so far up the list.

It seems they think they’re higher in the pecking order than they actually are. Not sure why, but it seems Harry’s always thought he was entitled..

Is there jewelry that is considered Crown jewelry and only passed down to the person who would be in line to be the Monarch?

And then I would think there is personal jewelry the Queen could dole out to whoever she wishes to leave it to.

Markle would get nothing from me. That said she will probably get something because of Harry.

The Middleton’s gave their first daughter a very regal first name. We should begin to use it now and discard the informal ‘Kate”. Her official name is Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge and now the Princes of Wales.

The British public ought to be having pi$$ fits about that.

Why?

They are public by law unless you go in and request a seal on them. Which I have never heard of being denied. Anyone can do that. They just usually do not.

And yet the royals routinely hide this info from the public.

So much for noblesse oblige, eh?

Speaking of taxes...

Still wondering if Harry is in the US on a visa that allows the Harkles to get out of paying US income taxes...

As I said, anyone can do it. It is not hidden when it is available to everyone who cares to go to the courts and ask.

If I know about it probably every person in the commonwealth with an IQ over 60 does.

You sound like the guys of yesteryear who used to demand that the monarch did their toilet in front of them.

At some point it starts getting creepy.

These were items that belonged to the Queen.

She didn’t give paid ‘speeches’ to third world hellholes at $10,000 a minute like Hillary Clinton (yes, the same ‘speeches’ Hillary couldn’t get people to listen to for free here in the US...the same ‘speeches dictators hired people to listen to...) - or sell out the country for cash and diamonds and favors like Biden and his whore monger son and extended family did.

I can enjoy the Queen’s jewelry collection - without feeling she sold herself to the most corrupt in exchange for diamonds and cash like democrats politicians do.

I just looked at a few legal eagle websites in the UK that say you can try it, but you usually won't get it. They councel other options in light of odds generally not in favor of a private citizen.

The royals have an excellent track record at it, though. Go figure.

And I'll just throw in this link from last year...

Epstein and Maxwell pictured at Queen's residence at Balmoral

Wonder if that's part of the reason the Windsors are so secretive about their public records...

And a note to the UK: Been wondering why the people running Epstein targeted the House of Windsor. Have added another possibility to the list, not my top suspicion, but you never know...

Let’ just say if I were the public, I’d hope you guys make sure that your national treasures are regularly audited, from the crown jewels to the fine art.

Trust but verify.
