No. That is not necessarily true at all. And certainly not in cases like these.
It does generally just from a pragmatic reality. Having someone to help pick up the kids, watch the kids, feed the kids, etc etc etc... A second income, or possibly a primary income so you can stop or cut back working etc etc... depending on the situation...
I get the allure to have a partner... but these single parents (mothers in particular) have to wake the hell up....
