We probably need to reduce governmental power, most especially federal financial power.

We need to avoid physical 1947 type India/Pakistan breakups.

Me neither. I don’t Have any use for pagan ding dongs without any rational thinking skills or tolerance for anybody but themselves. They should be confined to blue states and exiled permanently from a new country

Article I, Section 8

“The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and exercises, to pay the debts and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States....”

The Congress was not intended to be a payor of personal expenses.

The Founding Fathers knew what happened when the citizens of Rome depended on the dole.

At least most of them have been vaxxed and their kids desexed. The current depopulation agenda fits right into our hands. Just kidding of course. I don’t have their evil desire to see our demise. This article is so right on.

Who is John Galt?

Of course, Ayn Rand wrote of this divorce decades ago when the producers finally had enough, declared a strike, and extricated ourselves out of the mainstream.

That sounds more appealing than ever.

Even if it does take place peacefully there will be a lot of dislocation involved. However, serious thinkers should consider that in the long term it may be preferable to the alternatives.

I would truly like to see an effort by serious thinkers toward designing The Second Republic of the United States. A Constitution with clear language and strong safeguards. You will always be able to have a gun. It will be almost impossible for others to control you. Your freedom and your independence will be truly guaranteed. Your income cannot be taxed. Your property cannot be taxed. The government cannot educate people. The government cannot help poor people. The government cannot go into debt. Politicians cannot be allowed to break the law.

The Founders gave us something very good. But it wasn't good enough. We need to do better next time.

As far as I am concerned, Blue tribers are foreigners, cultural aliens who should exist in a separate polity from me and mine. They can do their thing and we can do ours. I fully realise that this isn’t something they are likely to voluntarily allow. Even if it does take place peacefully there will be a lot of dislocation involved. However, serious thinkers should consider that in the long term it may be preferable to the alternatives.

I've said before that, during the next 100 years, Democrats/RINOs in red states may consider moving to blue states, while Republicans, libertarians, and conservatives in blue states may consider moving to red states. It's already starting to happen. After a century of such migration, it would be time to maybe reassess to determine whether it's necessary to then split into however many separate countries.

At present, most of us live on the same street with some neighbors who have polar-opposite views on almost everything. They may even be your cheerful next-door neighbors who you get along with (because maybe you've never discussed politics with each other). Given that far-left and right-wing folks are often next-door neighbors throughout the nation, a second civil war would absolutely destroy our country. So long-term migration may be the better answer.

Again, after 100 years of migration, the situation could be reassessed. Maybe all the blue states are eventually comprised of almost all far-lefties (with some passive righties) and red states being practically all Republicans and conservatives (with some passive lefties) which may solve the problem, without any need to split up the nation into separate countries. Although, a major problem might still exist at the federal government level and it could be addressed then. Just a thought. I'm open-minded (unlike the close-minded Democrats/RINOs), so always looking for better answers.

Either the Democratic Party and its agenda are ultimately destroyed or the American nation will be destroyed.

Article states....” diversity plus proximity equals trouble..... This is true whether you personally like it or not. This applies to racial diversity, this applies to linguistic diversity, this applies to ethnic diversity. .....This division is, in fact, exactly what God intended when He split mankind up at Babel. Even if you don’t accept the Bible as authoritative, there are still several thousand years of human history that attests to the truth that things work best when there’s a place for everyone and everyone stays in their place.”........

We can see this also in todays world where refugees illegals etc. set up their camps....always with their own kind. Same in communities, they join with their own. But of course this being done in another country where language etc. differ you find it eventually leads to thug conflicts. Sweedens a good example and France as well.

Author states.....”Left-wingers really are a fundamentally different group of people than we are, and their culture is one that is driven by the imperialistic desire to absorb, assimilate, or if necessary, eliminate dissenters.”......

Indeed....I’ve stopped engaging with them for they’ve gone well beyond reasonable discussion. You’re now their ‘enemy’ full tilt!

Liberals are everywhere, but I moved to a county that Trump won 65%-35%, so at least there a fewer of them here and they aren’t as belligerent.

IMO, the fault line of cultural and political etc. separation lies along the axis of individual psychology. Specifically, if the importance of the individual's freedom is paramount, the absolute necessity of natural law will ensure adherence to the Constitution. That's the difference between say Trump and Biden. One thrived in a clear atmosphere of freedom and the other in the noxious cloud of control.

For the record, I associate with lefties as little as possible. And that includes family...
