I have read that he is acquainted with Orthodoxy and holds it in high regard. I believe he has visited Orthodox sites and, of course, his father was raised Orthodox.
You know, if all a person knew about the UK was what they saw at Elizabeth’s funeral, they would have to think that the UK is one of the most Christian places on earth. We’ll see more of that at Charles’ coronation. It’s a tragedy that the faith has largely been abandoned there. I think Elizabeth took it seriously in her personal life and in her role as sovereign. I pray that Charles does too.
About two decades ago there was a long-running thread here sustained by Freepers convinced that Charles was about to convert to Orthodoxy - a faith about which he hardly needs a crash course, since it was the faith in which his father was raised. The evidence was as thin as that presented in this thread about his interest in Islam...
...and few choose to notice his speeches repeatedly highlighting the plight of Christian minorities in the Middle East.
