This shelling during voting explains the presence of Russian soldiers in numerous voting areas.

The rised hand vote in Kosovo in 2008 for independence wasn’t even close to a referendum (which is taking place in Donetsk, Luhansk, etc) went against the Serbian constitution, thus was without the permission of Serbian authorities, and yet was hastily accepted by the west/NATO/EU.

Ukraine Threatens 5-Year Prison Sentence For Anyone Voting In “Sham Referendums”

“Starting last
month Ukrainian lawmakers began seeking to implement severe consequences for those participating in Russia-sponsored referendums in occupied territories of Ukraine. For example, a law is being pushed through parliament which criminalizes obtaining a Russian passport in temporarily occupied territories, Ukrainian sources reported last week, according to Yahoo News.

Proposed possible punishments have included losing Ukrainian citizenship, or even lengthy jail sentences. But other officials have argued for a more compromising approach given the necessity of survival in occupied areas. But now the Ukrainian government has reiterated its willingness to impose steep penalties for even participating in any Kremlin-sponsored vote to join the Russian Federation.

Russian President Putin’s Wednesday morning address announcing partial mobilization also affirmed plans to move forward with referendums in the LPR, DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.

Ukraine has responded by warning its citizens that any official who promotes or organizes the voting faces a “prison term of five to ten years” – as well as possible asset seizure by the state, and being barred from employment in select positions for up to 15 years.

Tucker Carlson reported that Zelensky locked up political opponents, painted all opposition political parties and media with a broad brush, that they’re all pro-Putin if they disagreed with him, and so on.

You know, if you were undecided that day, I doubt you’d vote for the ones who shot a howitzer at you that day.

“Ukraine ‘shells’ occupied areas amid vote”

I think 3 of the 4 regions voting have already hit the required 50% turnout for the vote to be certified, with the 4th region very close to 50%. So the shelling by the terrorists was too little and too late.

And why would they need to force people to vote?

And the presence of troops in the voting areas would allay the fears of people voting they would be voting unprotected in case of Ukrainian troops attacking them, or attempting to arrest them, especially so if any voting areas were close(r) to the battle lines.

I congratulate you on finding one of the better examples of the disingenuous strain of propaganda. This one deserves some sort of prize.

Ukrainians are being constantly shelled by Russian forces from these areas, but apparently it is appalling that the Ukrainians shoot back.

There was this war going on I seem to recall...

Forgot...

So people thinking there was no fathomable reason or need for soldiers to be present must be delusional.

Unfortunately, I’m sure they’re still around plotting their next coordinated onslaught of propaganda to pollute this forum.

Some of the worst ones are in Eastern Europe where it’s still pretty early in the morning.

I wish we could be free of their nasty, yappy ankle-biting, but they cling to this site like a cheap polyester suit.

Prove it is propaganda.

And others beside this news outlet have reported this, but this was a very recent news article on this so you are clueless about what you speak.

And no doubt you’ll say that libtard MSM outlets by the dozens never report Ukrainian propaganda.

And yet the list of examples like the Ghost of Kyiv, Snake Island Ukrainians not surrendering (when they did), the Ukrainian govt uses footage from the Arma 3 video game passing if off as real, using multiple movie clips to pass off as real war footage, and numerous other examples from the start of the war until recently have occurred is many.

And we all know libtard MSM outlets who say a gazillion Russian troops have died but far fewer Ukrainian troops have died is believable.

Sure. /s

Lastly, you completely deflected from what Tucker reported on Zel and on him threatening to imprison people for voting.

And despite the threats and intimidation by Zelensky’s regime, the citizens there come out to wait in line to vote.

This shelling during voting explains the presence of Russian soldiers in numerous voting areas.

So because there are occupying Russian soldiers conducting a sham referendum, the "voting areas" are legitimate military targets, and the Russian soldiers are using the civilian population as human shields.
