Giorgia Meloni, leader of the Brothers of Italy party that won the most votes in Italy’s national election, was preparing to be the country’s first woman premier on Monday. The center-right coalition leader is bound for office declaring “We defend God, country, and family” built on opposition to gender ideology and the LGBT lobby alongside support for strong borders and an end to limitless mass migration.
Meloni sounded a moderate, unifying tone in a victory speech that noted Italians had finally been able to clearly determine who they wanted to govern and the direction they wished to go in defiance of establishment elites.

The vice president of the European Parliament, Katharina Barley of the Social Democrats of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, cast Meloni’s victory as “worrying” given her affiliations with Hungary’s leader Viktor Orban and former U.S. President Donald Trump.
“Her electoral lip service to Europe cannot hide the fact that she represents a danger to constructive coexistence in Europe,” she was quoted as saying by German daily WELT, AP reports.

A conservative in Europe is the equivalent of a RINO in the US, both of which are the equivalent of a Fascist in the European media. Both Meloni and head RINO McConnell are step children of Mussolini in their simple little minds.

I never get too excited about Italy’s govt changes. Italy has averaged a new government every 13 months since WWII.
Usually a “conservative” in Europe means someone who is against a man having sex with boys under 12. 12 and over is fine on their sick minds.

I worry about that. The other side does not want to unify and they will not be moderate. If you open the door to unity, they will try to crush you. That's what they did to Trump. You cannot work with these people.
So, Poland, Hungary and now Italy are on the EU 💩 list? Wear it as a badge of honor. Congrats to Ms. Meloni and her party. Now she just needs to be approved as P.M. Listened to a speech she gave in 2020. She referenced Pope John Paul II, Ronnie Reagan and JRR Tolkein. Works for me.
Hopefully, the EU will quickly dissolve, from the weight of it’s own complete incompetence.

The socialist EU elite can whine and complain all they want. But according to this 2022 article, an expulsion would require all other EU nations to agree. Poland and Hungary support each other. And now Italy can be added to the mix.
Of course the EU elite are nothing more than modern fascists. So who knows what illegal things they might try.
