Pennsylvania Poll: Mehmet Oz in Statistical Tie with John Fetterman

Oz has been outspending Fetterman in ad space since early August. At current rates, he will outspend Fetterman by over $6 million dollars before election day. And this spending has accomplished what? A statistical dead heat at best, or a 2 point loss to Fetterman at worst. Without a 10 point lead pre-election-day, it amounts to flushing cash down the toilet.

You appear to believe throwing money at Oz, so Oz can throw money at ads, will solve the problem. Wrong. What is happening has nothing to do with money. If I lived in Pennsylvania I would not give Oz a dime. He's not politically, socially, spiritually, ethically, patriotically, or morally worthy of spending a single penny of my hard earned income on. He's a lot like Fetterman that way.

The solution isn't to try to buy a seat at the table for a guy like Oz because somehow you think that will indebt him to you. The solution is to walk away from the table without wasting your money. Go John Galt. When Pennsylvania figures out that Oz is not "good enough" to win, then Pennsylvania will flock to folks like Kathy Barnette if only to avoid people like Fetterman. The hard part is the easy part ... just quit supporting the lesser of two evils. That's incrementalism.

This is what you are seeing happening in Pennsylvania. Critical thinkers are tired of the game and are walking away from the table -- just like we walked away from Romney/Ryan. Yeah, having Obama sucked, but ultimately it gave us Trump instead of Clinton. That was a big win. If Oz wins -- and he might -- it means getting a Clinton instead of a Trump in six years (or whenever Fetterman's health fails). That's a big loss.

100% agree. Mastriano seems legit and the way he's being attacked by the media I think he has a real shot. MAGA needs to focus and show up on election day for Mastriano even if Oz is left swinging in the wind.

Kathy Barnette will never win an election! The fact that you think she is electable is laughable and ruins any credibility you have! I think a solid conservative like Barletta would be perfect and had high hopes for Mastriano but he absolutely sucks as a candidate!!! One more thing...you say that people in PA are turning away, well they had a primary there right? They had a chance to get the MAGA they wanted as you claim. She finished THIRD...the state rejected your candidate. They are not walking away, the state is ready to elect Oz by the looks of it and he may carry Mastriano across the finish line too!

I'm just explaining a bigger picture for the benefit of big-tent, non-MAGA, fathead republicans that can't seem to figure out why Oz is being outperformed by a candidate with the intelligence and physical demeanor of Alley Oop. Once you understand the problem you can fix it. But ... some will put the blinders on and continue the downward spiral. Others will try to put the blinders back on those around them. What will you do?

I’d place that wager any day. In case you missed it, Fetterman is the SITTING LT GOVERNOR. He already has the name recognition and has won statewide. As bad as a candidate as he is, hes a popular and known commodity in the state, but Oz has the money and name recognition to compete with that! Shapiro is by far the easier opponent and Mastriano is making a mess of it all.
