It is Putin who is threatening nuclear war if he keeps losing in battles with the non-nuclear country he is invading, and Putin started that threat on the first day he invaded his neighbor, on the third day he put his nukes on alert.
Russia is not being attacked or threatened by anyone.
And I am old enough to remember when the Left promoted fear of nuclear war as a reason for appeasement of the Soviet Union. I wonder just what kind of peace deal with Putin that the author has in mind. The surrender of Ukraine? Our surrender?
Russia, or Putin I should say, wants to capture land he thinks is rightfully Russian full of ethnic Russian. He won’t nuke what he wants.
This seems to be a continuation of the FUps of the Treaty of Versailles redrawing borders which should not have been drawn.

As Trump points out, Putin is constantly talking nukes and has his government people and state media constantly talking about nukes.
Putin was threatening us with nukes as he launched his invasion, on February 24, 2022, three days later he put his nuclear forces on alert to emphasize that threat.

Putin is the dictator of Russia and is in command and control of its nuclear weapons and is currently invading Ukraine and was the day he threatened nukes and 3 days before he ordered them put on alert.
Trump is correct, Putin is constantly using the “N” word.
Trump was the first Potus to not initiate conflict in many years. In fact, he created more international stability thru various peace negotiations. Even N Korea stopped their bs. Trump is about peace. He’s strong. Ie ..peace thru strength. But, He doesn’t threaten. He means business. That’s why nukes wouldn’t enter his vocabulary.
He was a representative of this nation. If that was said by another politician towards us, we’d say something in return. Which is exactly how it started. Putin responded.
Trump scared Russia with his push to strengthen NATO, reactivate V Corps and move it forward to Poland, rebuild our nuke forces, and tell NATO to disengage from Russia for crucial needs such as energy.

What a crock, we don’t surrender to nuclear threats, if we did, then it is all over for us and the world.
Putin is trying to normalize nuclear weapons for regular wars of conquest and invasions of other countries, in other words, introduce nuclear weapons as a normal weapon for attacking other nations, which would open it for Red China and N. Korea, and in time Iran.

Reagan threatened Russia with total annihilation if they used nukes on us.
Russia is threatening us and NATO with nuclear weapons if we don’t do as they order, think about that, not to save mother Russia, but as part of normal invasions of other countries.
