Appeasement only emboldens tyrants. If Russia had faced real consequences for sending armored columns into the Republic of Georgia it probably would have averted the Ukraine war. If Obama had not killed eastern Europe’s anti-missile shield, then Russia would not be attempting nuclear blackmail non-stop.

That was a huge frustration to me as I had to watch as the media pretended Obama was keeping NATO strong as he weakened it, and then I had to watch the reverse as I saw Trump strengthening and building up NATO while the media pretended he was weakening it.

You’re a Biden-supporting MUGA (Make Ukraine great Again). Go fight there if you believe in putting Ukraine First.

Trump never said anything of the sort when he was potus. Big difference. And he wouldn’t be the first to threaten.

Trump is not potus right now. Biden is and We are dealing with an unhinged administration - as in our own.

“ Appeasement only emboldens tyrants. ”

So the US should go to war over Ukraine? Or send billions that we don’t have to Ukraine. Talk about America Last mentality. MUGA! Make Ukraine Great Again

Sorry if I can’t join in your neocon, Biden-backing warmongering. I believe in MAGA, not MUGA. I believe in fixing Americas problems here at home. I’m America First. I don’t give a crap who rules Ukraine. Russia ruled there for hundreds of years and it had no effect on the lives of a single American family.

Trump threatened by doing what Reagan did, not verbally but by moving his forces accordingly.

Trump was strengthening our military posture against Russia, both in conventional and nuclear.

We/NATO is not doing anything wrong, we are supplying weapons to Ukraine, a common act that Russia knows well.

The nuclear issue is all Russia, and yet no one is threatening them or invading them.

You support Biden takes my tax dollars and my family’s tax dollars, and sends our tax dollars to Ukraine. That’s what I call a “Ukraine First”, MUGA mentality.

Keep telling yourself that.
This is Biden’s war. And only his. He and his administration are out of control. They couldn’t handle Afghanistan and they certainly are in over their head now. Especially after blowing up the pipeline.

Here is how normal it is to supply weapons, such as Reagan did in Afghanistan, while this Russian invasion is even closer, right on the border of NATO, and of course, Trump killed hundreds of Russians when they started moving towards Americans in Syria.

“Korean United Nations war.
“Despite its denials at the time, the Soviet Union was intimately involved in the Korean War. The contribution made by the Soviets was vital. They provided diplomatic support, strategic and grand tactical planning, including the planning of the invasion of South Korea, and essential logistical support. They supplied and trained the air forces of China and North Korea. Soviet pilots flew aircraft with Chinese or North Korean markings and after the war claimed to have shot down over 400 UN aircraft.”

Thousands of Russians served in Vietnam

“Starting in 1964, North Vietnamese fighter pilots and anti-aircraft gunners were being trained in the Soviet Union, with Soviet advisors also being stationed in North Vietnam. Early on, when the North Vietnamese troops were still unfamiliar with the new Soviet anti-aircraft batteries, Soviet crews manned the guns themselves and these crews did, in fact, shoot down US planes. One such Soviet battery reportedly downed six US planes.”

“Soviet involvement was not confined to anti-aircraft crews. There were also widespread reports (though these were never confirmed) that Soviet snipers had embedded with NVA units and infiltrated South Vietnam to test their new SVD Dragunov sniper rifles. Witnesses described these snipers as white men with blue eyes.

Beyond South Vietnam proper, but still within the unofficial theater of the war, Soviet GRU Spetsnaz special forces took part in at least one, and likely more, ground combat operation. In 1968, a team of ten Spetsnaz attacked a covert US base on the Cambodian-Vietnamese border, destroying three of the then-new US Cobra attack helicopters and actually stealing another. This operation was confirmed only after the fall of the Soviet Union, and if there was one Soviet special forces mission, there were almost certainly more.”

“From 1968 on, the Soviet Union provided the vast majority of the military and economic aid that North Vietnam received. They supplied their communist allies with food, petroleum, transport vehicles, iron, steel, fertilizer, arms, and ammunition. Most critically, the Soviets supplied all of this as aid rather than loans (as the Chinese had done early in the war). This eased the economic strain on North Vietnam and further advanced their war effort.”

Try to stay focused, that post said nothing about Trump being in office when Russia invaded Ukraine, it mentioned Reagan in Afghanistan and then Trump’s killing of all those Russians in Syria.

Get your numbers straight. 9 civilians were killed. He went after targets Ie buildings. Not broad strikes to kill civilians.

You’re war thirsty. I’m completely against this war.

You are one sicko appeasenik. You want to strengthen a sworn enemy of America by allowing them to steal Ukrainian land and resources. When the speaker of the Russian Duma makes serious demands that the “illegal” transfer of Alaska be reversed that should tell you something. When the talk on Russian media brags incessantly about Russia’s ability to “win” a nuclear war that should tell you something. You really don’t want to make America great, you want it limp-twisted. Why pass up the chance to field test our equipment by putting some into the hands of brave and intrepid Ukrainians who are fighting for freedom.

I send more to Ukraine than just my tax money. I worry more about the trillions the Dems use to buy votes and weaken America than the relatively paltry billions that make it to Ukraine. No more stimulus packages that hurt the workforce but strengthen Dems! Abolish the Departments of Education and Energy!
