Both my parents were alert and vigorous into their early 80s. Then began the decline (physically and mentally). Neither were mentally sharp by their late 80s.
Yep, she’s over the hill. On the other hand, few Congress critters actually understand what is going on. All research is done by Congressional staff, and when you see a Senator or Representative in hearings asking questions, those questions are drawn up by staff. So, although she may be senile (like our President), she’s not much different than the average Senator or Representative.

I worked with a woman who was sharp until she died, in her nineties. I knew people who went doo-lally in their seventies. Senators are not Presidents. THAT is where senility is really a problem, as The Hair-Sniffer shows.

That may or not be true. All I know is we need term limits for Congress. Founding fathers didn’t think it would be needed, but look where we are today. Absurdity prevails around everything
