If it weren’t for Scalise’s armed bodyguards (because of his position), the incident could have easily resulted in a couple of dozen dead Republican Congressmen. Since the gunman was killed it was easy for the media to forget the story quickly or treat it as limited to Scalise being injured.
I prayed for Scalise’s healing for months when I said my Rosary on the way to work. Then just a few years later, he winds up in the “leadership” and becomes a Trump hater. 🤦♀️
