Putin signs annexation laws as Russia calls U.S. military aid for Ukraine an "immediate threat"

As Vladimir Putin signed laws Wednesday formally declaring a huge swath of Ukraine part of Russia, his ambassador in Washington called the United States' plan to provide Ukraine with an additional $625 million in military aid an "immediate threat" to Russia's strategic interests. The ambassador said the ongoing provision of heavy weapons to Ukraine had cemented "Washington's status as a participant in the conflict."

The latest American military aid package for Ukraine, announced Tuesday, includes additional "HIMARS" advanced rocket systems — weapons credited with helping the country gain momentum against Russia's occupying forces — as well as other artillery systems, ammunition and armored vehicles.

"The supply of military products by the U.S. and its allies not only entails protracted bloodshed and new casualties, but also increases the danger of a direct military clash between Russia and Western countries," Russian Ambassador Anatoly Antonov said on the Telegram messaging app. "We call on Washington to stop its provocative actions that could lead to the most serious consequences."

Remember when Obama and the American media laughed when Romney said Russia was a threat?

Remember when libs and the losing MSM spent four years telling us Trump would get us into World War 3?

Putin signs annexation laws

LOL, Russians can't decide what they claim to have annexed, as they keep losing territory.

On Monday, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov attracted ridicule online after he admitted that Russia was still deciding which areas it had "annexed", suggesting that Moscow does not know where its self-declared borders are.

Mr Peskov claimed the entirety of Luhansk and Donetsk regions were part of Russia, but said the Kremlin would "continue consultations with the population regarding the borders of the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions".

When Obama was supplying money and arms to the rebels in Syria, we didn’t have to worry that the Syrians had nuclear weapons.

If Putin doesn’t want conflict all he has to do is withdraw his troops.

Just pack up their **** and leave.

Conflict ceases.

Pretty simple.

“’They will be with Russia forever,’ Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov declared of the four regions”

Is there anything more embarrassing in Russian history than declaring a region yours forever and then losing a big part of it the next day?

“how many members of your family will you trade to save ukraine? “

Who is trading family members? So far we have spent 0.02% of our national wealth helping Ukraine. Those pennies in the back of the couch are all it took to overwhelm Russia.

The Chicoms, Death to America Iran, etc., are watching. Surrendering to Russia’s nuclear blackmail now is the surest way to increase nuclear proliferation and similar tactics in the future. Is that what you really want?

“If Putin doesn’t want conflict all he has to do is withdraw his troops.”

We are not bankrolling Putin.

He’s not going to listen us.

We are bankrolling Zelensky.

Of course, we obviously have no control over our own “elected” officials.

If we did, the billions we are sending to Zelensky would instead be used to secure our own border.

Ukraine after all is not a legitimate nation

This is the crux of the matter. Russian chauvinism to "Little Russians", a refusal to recognize Ukraine as a free and independent country.
