I see the day shift is on duty
Since the Ukes are already setting up concentration camps to punish “traitors” who they think cooperated with the Russians (like you have a choice with an AKM pointed at your head) they will probably just threaten to kill the plant workers who walk off the job. There are still a few Azov units around to accomplish this.
You can jail people for collaborating with the enemy invaders during wartime.

It is if by “voting” you are actually participating in an enemy wartime propaganda stunt. Then you are a collaborator just as much as Lord Haw-haw was.

The Russian border is just a few miles away. If Russia is so concerned with their plight, then they could just offer them all refugee status. But then Russia would not have an excuse to invade and try to conquer Ukraine, so that will never happen, any more than the Arab states will ever offer refuge to the Palestinians that they are using as pawns to preserve an excuse for trying to conquer Israel.
Russia gave them the option to join Russia instead.
They’d much rather stay in their homes and become Russian than become refugees.

Unfortunately for them, Russia doesn’t have the ability to give them that option, any more than I have the ability to sell your car on Craig’s List and keep the money for myself.
So all they did was provide material support to the enemy, and they should count themselves very lucky that they didn’t receive the usual battlefield justice that is meted out to people who do that.

And talking is just talking. But talking that is done as part of an enemy propaganda stunt during wartime makes one an enemy collaborator. So does voting while taking part in an enemy propaganda stunt during wartime.
Yeah, Russia is so good at maintenance. How is all that Russian military equipment performing?

Except they’re not part of Russia at all, and the Russians trying to occupy those territories will be removed, whether you like it or not.
